Return Policy

Returns are accepted for defective products only. 

All items sold on TekGems come with a 30-day warranty unless noted otherwise.

Please inspect goods and notify us of any issues within 30 days of the shipment date.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Is Required

All returned merchandise require a a return merchandise authorization (RMA) from TekGems. Returns must be postmarked within 30 days of the Ship Date. RMA numbers will not be extended nor reissued. We can issue you a store credit code or replace your item (if the item is available to ship when the return is processed). Any products not authorized for return will be refused.

Restocking Fee is 15%

Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee for item(s) being returned. We encourage our customers to purchase products they intend to keep. The restocking fee is waived if the return is tested defective (system incompatibility is not considered "defective").

Return Shipping Is Not Paid For

Shipping and handling is not refundable. We do not manufacture the products we carry and can not be held responsible for product defects. If you pay to return the product, TekGems will pay for the shipping cost to replace your item

Wrong Item Received

If a wrong product is received, we may send you a return shipping label or let you keep the item as a gift. A "wrong" item is defined as a buyer receiving a different SKU than what was ordered. Some item descriptions will disclose in the description if a substitute part number can be swapped with the ordered part.

Return Packaging Requirements

To be accepted, all returned products must be labeled with the assigned RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and accompanied with a copy of the sales receipt (if possible). Customers must pack items securely with all items returned (e.g. manuals, cables, accessories, etc.). Failure to do so may jeopardize both the RMA and warranty. Unauthorized and/or unmarked returns will be returned to the sender. All returns must be mailed using a trackable shipping method. The only exception to this rule is when the original purchase was made via local pickup.

Limitation of Liability

TekGems is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of any product(s) that we sell. In all circumstances TekGems.com's maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the products sold plus shipping up to $5.00 (our standard shipping fee). TekGems.com shall not, under any circumstances, be liable upon a claim or action in contract, tort, indemnity or contribution, or other claims relating to the products it sells which exceeds this liability limit. TekGems.com shall not be liable for third party claims for damages against the customer, or for malfunction, delays, interruption of service, loss of business, loss or damage to exemplary damages, whether or not TekGems.com has been made aware of the possibility of such claims or damages.

Products Not Eligible for Returns

Software, video games, music CDs, movies, CPU, and memory chips are not eligible for returns.

TekGems reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
