I installed the GL811 USB hard drive per instructions and it installs OK. But the hard drive doesn't show up in Windows Explorer. How do I access the hard drive?

My system has USB 1.1 but the GL811 should be backwards compatible, shouldn't it?

USB 1.1 should work fine although transfer speed is very slow. At most you will get 1 megabyte transfer rate per second. You may need to format the hard drive before you can use it. In Windows 2000, you would go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Disk Manager. The disk should appear as a mounted device. If you right-click on the physical drive, format will be an option for you.

Where can I get the softwear to allow my 128 MB Gold High Speed 2.00 USB Flash Drive to operate in Windows 98sp. It works well in Windows 2000 but not in my 98 laptop.
