Hi two questions.

1) Are your cards locked?

2) Are your cards full?

Posted: Nov 13, 2006 16:08:47

no, card was just formatted.
i dun kno whether it was locked?
how to check?

:)

If you can format the card, it was not locked. The memory cards have a little switch on the side that will either be unlocked or the "locked" position. The card should have the word "locked" written on the card to tell you whether it is locked or not.

If the card is not locked, it is possible the device you purchased (I do not think you bought it from us) is defective.

A friend has one of these cameras, she hasn't been able to use it, she lost the instructions and have no software. What do we need to start up? and to be able to load pics and video on the computer.

hi. i am glad i found this site thru a google search of the camera name as like everyone else the book says nothing about their website or help. i bought the camera new from ebay power seller & i will be putting a note about all these queries on my page there.
i also cant get the CD to download the drivers!!
an error message says there is no device to read a wave file!
altho when i right click the drive where the CD is & select explore i was ablt to download the 2 software progs for video & pics.
but none of that helps if the pc doesnt install the camera.
anyone have the drivers for the DV182F model please? maybe that will make it work.
re the pic taking mine worked fine with new batteries & i used a hp printer with card reader to upload them.
touch wood!
btw some parents should be suing the ed dept there are a lot of spelling mistakes on here or poss just bad typers like me ! :]
thank you everyone..
