I am a fine artist getting my feet wet in digital art. Does this $19.95 tablet come with the stylus? I don't want to spend a lot of money until I see if this medium is "beyond me." If I do well, then I will spend a lot more money on a tablet! Could you let me know! Thank you so much!

Hi, yes it comes with a stylus. My opinion is that a Wacom tablet would suit you better for your digital art. I suppose a JamStudio is an acceptable way to get started. The experience though is completely different between the two brands as Wacom is fully supported in all the major graphics applications such as Adobe PhotoShop and Illustrator. JamStudio requires that you use their software. In any event, good luck on your artistry.

"JamStudio requires that you use their software"
Not true. As the JamStudio tablet also emulates a mouse, you can use it in anything that allows mouse input. My son uses his with Paintshop Pro and Microsoft Paint for example.

I had the installation problems plus one of the software bits came with a virus. So far this thing is a piece of junk I will be excited if you come up with a hack for the button ,Should have got a Wacom .I guess thats what you get for 15 dollars.

Does anyone know if you could use this as a mouse to mark on MS Word documents?

Posted: Apr 22, 2003 18:29:01

I just bought the jamstudio digital tablet today. I am running Windows XP and it came with suitable drivers and software. The tablet is plugged into the USB port. Everything loaded okay EXCEPT I cannot get the stylus to work. It did for a short time but I am so gauche using it. Then it stopped working and reverted to the mouse. I cannot work out why? Any pointers

For Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, and XP, download the driver here:

http://tekgems.com/dl/input-devices/jamstudio-tablet-win95-98-me-2000- xp.zip

Includes specific instructions on how to install for Windows XP:
open the installation-instructions.jpg which is a scanned document that comes with all the JamStudio Tablets.

Hi I just bought the JS. Everything installed fine, pen works and everything (W98). To draw the barrel button is released - after click (2?) in drawing area. To move the pen, without drawing, the button must be engaged. This is contrary to how my mind plods along. Is there a way to press the barrel button to draw and release it to create whitespace? Thx

Posted: May 22, 2003 05:17:20

I brought the JamStudio tablet from a different retailer, but when i installed the software on the machine I too was missing the control panel icon and i tried on Windows 98, ME and XP. I just downloaded the drivers from a link in this tread and installed on one of the 98 machines at work. Finally, theres the control panel icon, it appears the original .cpl file was named incorrectly and the other drivers couldnt find it. I'm still trying to get the tablet working however, but hope this might help someone. Basically, try with newest drivers, maybe even extract the cab files to your computer and locate the .cpl that way if your asked to.

Sometimes the stylus makes unwanted
horizontal lines.How can I avoid it ?

Posted: Jun 23, 2003 23:06:05

Wow interesting I have had a Jam Studio tablet for sometime now it isn't exactly
what I want to use but I will tell ya what, here is a taste of what I have done with it.
http://www.michiganmagazine.tv
http://www.pop4.net/images/logotrans21ad.jpg
And to top it off.
http://www.goodmorningiraq.org And yes graphics aren't exactly the finished result
yet. But, I have no trouble with it since I bought it new. And I use it on every
machine I have on every os even win95 with a lil' finesse. Thanks to USB hardly can mess up but there are those special instances. :) Best way I found to use a tablet and stylus at all was to not look at it like a mouse pointer and use it like a pen or pencil. Watch the screen and not your hand while you work. And yes it even works with Gimp, Photoshop, along with everything else application wise. Even the default Paint Program in windows. I am going to try getting it to work under FreeBSD 5.0 should be easy I will see.

Posted: Jul 1, 2003 10:04:07

I don't know why all of you people are having so much trouble. True, it may be a cheaper end tablet, but it does what it says, and works just as a mouse if you actually wanted to use it that way. Configuring the pressure is vital though, the default setting is way too sensitive for daily use. Although anyone that wants to use it as a mouse should rethink that. :)

Posted: Jul 4, 2003 14:48:30

I hope that you guys can help! Following the ideas above, I have loaded the xp drivers (all dated 15/12/2000) from the link above - but I can't work out how to make the programme run. It doesn't appear in my programme list, nor is there an .exe file. I do have an icon in the Control panel, so something is working (and the light on the tablet fashes too!)

When I run Paint, and use the pen on the table nithing happens either.

Posted: Jul 6, 2003 21:52:45

THe pen does not work! Maybe I'm crazy, but I use the mouse in the included programs and everything is fine. I just can't get the pen to do anything. I write on the tablet and nothing happens. Can't even find that damn settings menu. Is it a menu to turn the tablet on or just for sensitivity? I just want the machine to work but it does nothing.

A Further point (from $A60 bloke).
Mine mucked up again so this time I thought RIGHT you mongrel!!
I clicked the barrel button OFF!! (in contol panel jam icon)
And I use the pen with variable pressure to achieve what I'm doing. With the barrel button switched on it works the opposite to what you think it should so disable it.
now it works before it touches the tablet.
Anyway have a fiddle with it it aint too bad.

Posted: Jul 11, 2003 18:06:45

i've been having trouble with mine lately too. Every time I change the pressure and exit out, it always changes it back to the default.

Posted: Jul 17, 2003 20:44:08

I just got this today and found out a few things: It is VITAL to download the new drivers. That's what will give you the icon in the control panel. The bundled software is irrelevant and has no effect on the functioning of the pen. Set the pressure to light. Set the barrel to off (if you must have it on, the right click setting yields the best results because actions aren't backwards from what you expect). Do NOT use the pen as a mouse to select menu options. This seems to confuse it and it either leaves a visible trail from the menu or selects an item below what you think you are selecting. You can use the pen to move to where you need to select something, but don't use it for the click. I have it on a laptop so the touch pad serves as a mouse for me. I'm using it in Fireworks now. Takes somewhat heavy pressure to start a stroke, but then it is great. Can get much more detail with it compared to a mouse. So there are a few glitches - for the price, what do you expect?

Posted: Jul 18, 2003 19:37:43

The more I fiddle with this thing the better it gets! Try millions of colours (24bit) I'm surprised

Posted: Jul 18, 2003 21:51:00

I know you've probably heard this question a million times by now, but where can I find a driver for JamStudios that will work on Windows 98? I've downloaded a couple now, but I still can't get a driver to work for it. When I go into "Install New Hardware" my computer prompts me to insert the Windows 98 CD ROM. I've inserted that, but it still cannot find the driver. A little help please? Thanks.

I bought the Jam studio and followed all the advice previous posts gave and it works fine. The only thing is that even with the sensitivity on light, it takes more pressure than is comfortable to register. The only solution i have come up with is to hold the mouse down while drawing (annoying). Any more advice would be greatly appretiated.

Posted: Aug 8, 2003 08:24:01

The JamStudio I bought from eBay comes with everything including the driver, manual and softwares. Driver doesn't work no matter what I did. I don't need those softwares. Good thing I found this forum and got a link for that driver that really works for Win98. Then the fun went on.

But now ..... RECALL!!! The JamOnline site is for sale!!!! What happened? What about this recall and problems with users?

With that recall, I wouldn't even touch my tablet with a ten foot pole .... with power on.

Posted: Aug 8, 2003 10:36:51

I really hope I can return this thing. Unless I can get it to work, that is. I bought my tablet off of eBay for a grand total (Price plus shipping) of $38.00. Waste of money? It sure seems that way right now.

You see, even with the 7 by 5 inch work area on the tablet, if I bring the stylus near one inch from any edge, the cursor on screen is no longer on the white drawing space on-screen. That applies to both Paint and the JamStudio program. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Also, does anyone know where to get Wacom tablets cheap? Wacom's tablets seem to be of better quality... is that right?

My daughter received a jamstudio for her birthday. The cd inside only has text files, no jamstudio software or drivers. I've downloaded drivers which I think will work, but I need to find somewhere to download their basic software for her. Does anyone know where I can get this? I thought I might find something on Kazaa but haven't had any luck. Please help; she'd really like to try this out.
Thank you.

Can anyone help, I've got this JamStudio tablet. It says on the box, no Web Painter software. The driver took 2 secs to install and there doesn't seem to be any other software on the CD!

I've tried opening Paint Shop Pro and scribbling - zilch!

I've read previous posts and am wondering if this has been a complete waste of money! I'm running Win98, what am I supposed to do with it!

Any help would be most appreciated.

I didn't buy my jamstudio from tekgems, however I'm hoping someone could be of some help here. I'm running windows xp and using it through my usb port. I downloaded the xp drivers for this device and installed them without any major problems. However I can't find my control panel to adjust the stylus settings. Anyone else have or solved this problem by any chance?

Posted: Aug 30, 2003 23:00:25

I just received my Jamstudio tablet today. I first installed the programs on the cd. Yes, Norton came up with a virus fragments found warning. Apparently harmless according to their website and the file was repaired by Norton Antivirus. I'm running XP and I uninstalled the programs when I realized that they are only for Win 95,98. I installed the drivers from the link mentioned above. Control panel (system)shows Microsoft drivers installed and working correctly. No applet in control panel, the light on the tablet is active, the stylus does not work. After experimentation it seems that Win XP is installing generic drivers built into Win XP instead of the downloaded ones. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I just got a Jam Studio today, it seems fine on the usb port but if connected to the serial port takes a long time to stop flashing its light and then windoze (w98) doesn't recognise it. It also does not work with Satori Photo XL (ageing but good free graphics package) - can select brushes etc but not actually draw anything! Fine with other drawing apps. I want to use it with Linux eventually - anyone had any luck this way?

Okay ... I just purchased the JamStudio tablet. I installed the software. That went fine. I then got the XP drivers and installed them. This was all done before plugging in the tablet. I plugged in the tablet and got nothing from it. There is no Control Panel. There is no icon for the tablet in the Control Panel. It doesn't work at all. Someone please help because I'd really like to get this thing working.

Posted: Sep 11, 2003 23:13:49

purchased this thing on ebay. Tried it on three computers: that is, I've tried installing the damn drivers both regular and XP and none of them managed to install the control panel thing. In all cases, it didn't hang, but it did everything instantaneously... right after hitting Finish it asked me if I wanted to reboot? It very clearly seems like it didn't do anything at all. I've tried it on win2000 and win98se and I've tried closing every running process and so on... no result. Help would be appreciated, if anyone knows, but it seems to depend on luck. (and of course, I can't get the pad itself to react, the light just blinks and that's it)

Posted: Sep 18, 2003 11:52:47

Right now the JamStudio works as a glorified mouse pointer. How do I get it to work with the "256" levels of pressure so I can draw thick and thin lines in PSP7.0

Posted: Sep 23, 2003 15:53:25

If you have a problem with the drivers from the link below working go back to the link and dl the other jamstudio drivers there install themm after you install the one that says XP. I did this and everything works fine including the control panle Icon

Just installed this tablet using USB on Windows XP Service Pack 1 and it's working great. Here's how:

1. Do not plug in tablet yet.
2. Download XP driver software from this site.
3. Unpack onto your system.
4. Run setup.exe, choose Finish, then No to re-start.
5. Plug in Tablet to USB port.
6. Let Windows find the device and say it's installed (it isn't yet).
7. Re-run setup.exe again, choose finish.
8. At this point the drivers 'really' install, choose Continue to install.
9. Setup program says it's installed this time.
10. Setup actually copies files this time and creates control panel applet.

I've tried this on 3 different systems with 2 different tablets and it's worked on them all.
The sensitivity was a bit soft on both tablets so adjusted slightly heavier.

[edit]sorry no competitor URL or names, please[/edit]

Yup...what the guy above me said!
I had no trouble at all getting this little gem to work. I use photoshop, so the software it came with is sort of a joke, but the drivers for XP work perfectly. I got this as a gift, and I must say I quite like it. Sure, it's not a "professional" gadget, but it works in every application and I have found that it speeds up the use of quite a few.

Posted: Jan 23, 2004 02:18:53

Hi! I just got JamStudio as a present. I installed the the driver and everything went fine. It also works Photoshop 7, but there was no cd with the software, hence I still have this right click thingy and the sensitivity is just too slow. Does anyone have the software? Pretty please?

Posted: Jan 27, 2004 09:49:48

hi,
i'm thinking of buying a JamStudio to drawing with, but i'm not sure how good it is at drawing, or what the softwere that comes with it is like, if anyone could tell me i'd be very pleased, thanks a lot!

thanks for the site to get the drivers, but now i have a new problem. I can move the pen around , i see the pointer moving on the screen, but the button on the pen doesn't seem to be working. On the user's guide, it says after installing, the jam studio control panel is located in the controls panels folder, to find it, go to apple menu>control panel>kbgear. when i do this, all goes well, but the click button on the pen dosen't want to click at all, even when i try to set it a single click,or double click,etc..., and am i supposed to have a jam studio folder when i downloaded the drivers on that page you sent me to? could anyone help me please?

Posted: Feb 27, 2004 21:02:23

I keep getting the error after the screen "Digital Signature Not found" that says 'Setup failur, code e0000219'. I get this error with both the 2000/me (jamstudio.zip) and the xp drivers (jamstudio-tablet-xp-driver.zip). Anybody have any ideas on how to make it work?

Posted: Feb 29, 2004 12:04:34 · Edited by: Admin

Here's a little FAQ for now.

1) The mouse button settings are limited to 2 options (right click and double left click) which are hard to use on outside software like Paint and Adobe proudcts for example.
(The Paint options are constantly on or drawing...etc...)

Answer - Go into your WINDOWS directory and loacte WINTAB.INI.
Scroll down to the middle under the KIDBOARD section. You should see the Csr0SysBtns heading and change its first two values to 0 1 (disregard the following zeros). Restart your computer and your normal mouse left-button click option should be set. If any changes are made in your control panel (say for sensitivity) then you will need to re-edit the Wintab.ini file again and restart your computer to keep your mouse click setting.

2) The tablet is always on after shutting down your computer.

Answer - You need to turn off your computer manually by flicking the switch off in the back of most towers otherwise I'm guessing that the tablet draws power off of the keyboard it's plugged into.

3) Is there any drivers for (insert your favourite software name here) to work with JamStudio?

Answer - It works more like a mouse so most times there isn't a problem except with certain programs like Adobe Photoshop's Spraycan option not working, (while the rest of Photoshop works fine) etc...This could possibly be a video driver issue.
Try your luck and update your video drivers or even get an update for your graphics software if available.

4) JamStudio is out of business.

Answer - It appears so. So don't expect any fixes and updates but again there is a place to get drivers still.
http://tekgems.com/dl/index.php?dir=.%2Finput-devices

5) Is JamStudio any good?

Answer - You get what you paid for...it's beats drawing with a mouse especially drawing curves and flowing lines. I did this piece in about 15 minutes of doodling.

Hope this help if even a little bit.

I've installed the drivers on my XP machine, but all the tablet does is sit there when plugged in (using the USB, since my computer doesn't read the serial plug at all)...

But the little green light in the lower right hand corner just blinks. Moving the stylus around does nothing at all.

The funny thing is, when I first got this tablet and used it on a different computer with Win2K, it worked great. But now no matter what computer I try to install it on, it says the drivers have been installed(using the double installation method) correctly, but it never seems to actually be recognised by the computer. Help?

Posted: Mar 6, 2004 06:57:51

Well, if it's blinking then it is indeed a driver issue since the light shows that it is getting power from your keyboard.
Check your Control Panel for your Sketchboard Studio applet for confirmation that everything is fully installed. If not, install everything manually by right-clicking on the file Kbsketch.inf and choose Install from the pop-up menu.
Otherwise you might have a conflict somewhere...or (and I'm grasping at straws here) it just might not like your keyboard.

Posted: Mar 15, 2004 22:19:08

I just tried installing on an XP machine. The imput was too jumpy, so I'll go back and adjust sensitivity as discussed here.

Posted: Mar 15, 2004 22:20:56

I'd like to use the table for handwritting, ala a tablet pc.

Will this work for handwritting??

Posted: Apr 18, 2004 16:33:23

Not true,

Works well - but can't get the pressure variable to work. Tried all the suggestions above.

Still beter than a mouse!

both win Me and win xp

Posted: Apr 22, 2004 19:16:00

Yeah, it's no Wacom, but after I got the driver downloaded from this site it works fine! (it's no more pressure sensitive than a mouse though).

My tablets green light kept blinking for a while, and I found that the pen input wasn't pushed in the tablet all the way.
The problem ceased after that.

The CD from Jam Studio does have reminants of the CIH virus, but Norton got rid of it. ^_^;;
(reminants are harmless, but it freaked me out at first)

I was really just looking for the balance of being able to use a pen for my digital art. At this point Wacoms are just going for too much... :(

Posted: Apr 25, 2004 12:15:59

If you use the CFG information above (at least in XP) you will find a very decent tablet here, including some pressure control. I bought mine on eBay for $9.99 (total $18.99 with shipping) and it works wonders for drawing diagrams, signing letters and doodling.

Just have some patience, be ready to fool around with some settings, and this tablet is worth the very little money paid for it. :)

Posted: May 15, 2004 14:20:43

Ok, well i just got one of these off of ebay and i got it and tried to install it with usb. It wouldnt work, then i tried to install it with the serial, it wouldnt work, and now i tried it with the mouse port and it still wont work. When i open up the setup file all it does is tell me to click finish and then it asks me if i want to restart or not it doesnt even install anything.

From what ive read in most of the posts here, this thing is a piece of junk.

I've had my tablet for nearly a year and when we re-installed it onto my computer it stopped working, i can get it to work as a mouse but when i try to draw it wont make a straight line. It would be broken and acts like the button is being clicked. Do i need to get a new Tablet? Pen? Someone help please. You can contact me at SomeChickArtist [at] yahoo.com

I've had a JamStudio for a while now. I was trying to use it today and forgot that I need to install it. So I searched Google and found this site.

Installation today was really simple. The JS was already plugged in, I just downloaded the above drivers, unzipped them and installed. Works perfectly now without any restarting.

Im just now checking out jamstudios drawing tablet.....I was excited about it...

My question is, during installation, has anyone had a problem with norton anti-virus pulling up virus's claiming its coming from the installation cd?

I got two different warnings....one said:

Norton Anti-Virus has detected the W95.CIH. remnants virus in: C:\Program Files\Totally Hip Products\Giffy View\~GLH05b1.tmp

The other said:

Norton Anti-Virus has detected the W95.CIH. remnants virus in: filename:D:\WEBPA~4A\QT4\Quickt~b.exe

Can anyone help me with this?
My computer wouldnt let it install this....it was denied.

Thanks everyone!

Me again!
I finally got connected. and it's working ok. i have a few questions i need answers to. First, how do you load color samples into the already set palettes (i hate the bland colors and need more) Second how do i use it in conjuction with Photoshop 5.5 (that's wht i'm running). The pen sems to be working fine although it seems to stray at times. Any ajustion suggestions and also brushes......i need more brushes. Thanks you all have been such a great help.

get a new computer or stop using the pad if you have problems, but if you don't want to, try some of the tings said on this page, try taking out the pen from the tablet and plug it in, take it out from the back of your computer and plug it in a different spot or the same one, reinstall, that's all I have to say to everyone here. I've had problems,i'm 12 and I solved them on my own. just trial and error before you go out and ask 50 million question please.

well I just got one of these jamstudio tablets off of ebay .. cost me 15 bucks - brand new unopened box - downloaded the drivers off the link on here - installed the drivers - then connected the tablet via usb ( and yes im using windows XP pro SP1 ) then installed the software that came on the disk - stylus wouldnt work then i just reinstalled the driver again and it came to life - and had the control panel icon so i could setup the button function and the pressure of the click . all sorted no problems running on athlon2400+ winxp 512meg ram gforce FX5200 and runs sweet on Photoshop CS and can draw a stright line no problem 100% works great !

I'd like to thank ATX, I followed your instructions and voila, it works great.

Installation was not a problem. Downloaded the driver as per instruction. My operating system is XP.

My problem was with 3 choices of clicks: off, right click and double left click. I followed ATX's instruction on how to go about changing the wintab.ini file and I now have the left click and it works great.

Thanks ATX!

I just purchased jamstudio from ebay. True the software provided has a virus. Pen does not work. Manufacturer is out of business, and you need to be a computer programmer to get the bloody thing to work. This is my first online disappointment!

I've just recieved my JamStudio, and it works great on WinXP SP1. Here is how I installed:
*Unplug the tablet from the PC
*Install XP drivers
*Plug in tablet
*Reinstall drivers
When questioned, answer that you want to continue the installation. I also get a control panel. Hope this helps.
Ohh, and use it with the USB port, I believe it only works with that

Back again,
Just had a windows meltdown so I had to reload all my software...including the dreaded jamstudio drivers.
Aftr hours of trying, nothing seemed to work.
Then I remembered a comment made on this board.
It's a glorified mouse.
Then it occured to me, since I last saw it listed as a mouse in my Device Manager then why not install it manually as a mouse?
So this is what you can do...try installing it and if it doesn't take then go into your control panel and select Add New Hardware.
From there, keep hitting Next until the option whether or not to let Windows search for it.
Pick No, I want to select my hardware from a list.
From there you select the Mouse. When it comes time to ask you for a driver you have two options...chances are the drivers are laying dormant on the list...just scroll down til you see Jamstudio/Kidboard and choose that otherwise select it from where you keep your drivers (CD/Hard-drive/Floppy).
Restart windows, (didn't really had to unplug anything) and go into your control panel and you should see the icon there...everything should work fine.
This worked for me using the Serial port and Windows 98.
Scroll up along this very thread to see how to fix the awkward left click problem.

Oh, by the way, and I'm just trying to help. I got this tablet awhile ago with no software whatsoever...I share your frustration. Hope the above manual mouse solution works.
All the best,
ATX

Here's the funny thing. I bought one of these off a discount rack at KMart a year or two ago for 10 bucks. Got it home...could not install on any win98 machine. Barfed all over the place. USB support was always sketchy as hell on win98 anyhow. Other machines were Win2k...install would not take. Win2k support for legacy programs is sketchy as hell. So I shelved it for a while. Then I was plunking around on the net one day rebuilding my kids' linux box and came across an Xfree86 driver for this thing. Amazing. Added a few lines to my conf file, plugged the puppy in (in the USB port, BTW) and BLAMMO. They've been using it for Tux Paint and The GIMP ever since.

The funny thing is that this is a product that was specifically designed to run on Windoze boxen and it never would, but ran fantastic on Linux.

I just now saw the updates here for winXP and I might try that when I build the kids' new dual booter. When I went back to try and get newer software revs because the ones I got with it weren't working, the site was already dead and at that point you're pretty much done for. I was considering busting out the old CD and seeing if XP's compatibility mode would make up for the win98 and 2k deficits, as well...but I'd rather try something that people are having work for them than stab at some other software that didn't work the first time around.

I was scanning the net a bit tonight because I knew that Xfree86 is dead and replaced by its successor Xorg and I wanted to make sure that I found the right bit to set it up on the new system. Turns out it looks like support may have been included in one of the 2.6.x kernels so I might not have to do anything to make it work on linux.

But it's even cooler that there's something patched up for it on XP. Now they can have it run on both their installs seamlessly. Kooool.

I'm gonna mark this one for future reference. *<ctrl-D>*

THANKS!!

Is there anyway that the button on the pen can be turned into a one left-click only? Instead of two?

Thanks

I have the Tablet Icon, but when I click on it, it says, "No Wintab device found" but in my Wintab.ini files there is the KBGear Tablet and also my AceCat Tablet. The AceCat Tablet works fine, the KBGear one not at all. WinXP SP1 with KBG XP drivers..... Thanks.

Here's one: My Jam Studio Tablet (given to me) connects through the same kind of port a MONITOR does. How in the heck could I have both hooked up at the same time???

Posted: Mar 11, 2005 08:04:21

If all you see is a monitor connector, you are missing the adapter cable(s) - there were two, one of them a VGA-to-USB adapter, and for older computers, a more complicated VGA to serial-and-ps2 assembly, with a 'piggybacked' ps2 socket for your ps2 mouse.

If anyone out there knows how to configure the wintab.ini file I could use some help.

The setup above is pretty darn good (compared to the defaults). I'm running WinXP. It looks like the clicking is TOO sensitive but the pen motion is not sensitive enough. The pen doesn't seem to flow across the page nicely for me. If anyone knows which controls govern the pen motion and the pen depression I'd be very interested to know how I can tweeak the file that here.

Thanks.

I read a lot about wanting the pen button to function as a left-click, but after using the tablet, I wonder why you'd want that, at least for drawing on a blank space. I employ the button as a right-click, and that permits me to cover up with my background color, effectively making an eraser of the pen.

having a problem with kbpablo.inf that came with zip file for winxp driver.. setup keeps giving me an error and when i try to repair the driver under my device manager using that .inf, it says "an error occured during the installation of the device The driver selected for this device does not support Windows XP" I know I'm not the only one having this problem trying to use the Pablo with Win XP.. if it can't be fixed that's fine but I'd like to know if I even have a chance of using this or not ... thanks :)

My cursor sometimes shakes and moves on it's own. When I disconnect the tablet (unplug the USB), it stops. Any idea what's causing this?

Posted: Jul 21, 2005 22:26:52

My tablet works fine except that the double left click cause the photoshop to not respond is there anyway to make the double click a single click?

is there a way to get one of these tablets to work with the serial/ps2 adapter on an XP service pack 2 system? I've tried all the methods listed here but it won't work as a mouse. The light blinks constantly and it shows up in the control panel under "mouse" input devices but i get error messages whenever trying to install drivers. thanks!

I have had a Jamstudio for a year, but was afraid to download it due to all the rumors about the dreaded imbedded virus. Now it sounds safer, but I can't find the disk -- I suppose it fell out of the box. Is there anything I can do?
