Having used the UltimateTV/DirecTV box for two years, its recording capacity is seriously reduced: With 13-14 hours of recorded programs, the machine starts marking programs for deletion. A DTV rep said the HD may need reformatting but was unclear about possible risk factors or other potentiasl problems. Anybody experienced similar problems?

Yes, after 6 mo. capacity suddenly went from 30+ hrs. to 25 and Sony tech said it would get worse until I sent it in for reformatting. Dealer has new set w/ missing keyboard so I'll probably get it and fix old one to keep as spare.
