Hi Joi, WebTV Plus Keyboard is compatible with all WebTV Units. The WebTV keyboard is compatible with a limited amount of the WebTV Classic Units. Get the WebTV Plus Keyboards.

Hi, I assume you want the WebTV Keyboard to interface with the receiver and TV. I know to control the TV, you have to program the specific TV codes into the keyboard:

http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Oaks/2180/codes.html

Please let me know if this is what you had in mind.

1) Also, you should know a pair of batteries are required for the operation of the keyboard.
2) And the keyboard's red infrared square at the front of the keyboard does not "blink". Some buyers have stated the keyboard is defective because it does not "blink". But that is "normal".

Webtv/MSNtv wireless keyboards are proprietary, correct? In other words only keyboards designed for WebTV/MSN/tv will work. If I am wrong here can someone please let me know where I can get a list of 3rd party keyboards that will work, OR the specifications that are required so I can locate them myself. I work for a retailer that does not sell the made for webtv keyboards (and isn't interested in getting them either) and if one more customer calls about one I'm going to hit someone! Microsoft site is useless for information so I would appreciate the help.

We offer wholesale pricing on keyboards in cases of quantity 20. Feel free to e-mail us if you want help with this.

Actually, i'm not looking to buy them, I'm just the Pre-sales tech guy here. I already asked about stocking them and got a big no from merchandising. To be honest I'm looking to tell our customers we don't have them and send them someplace else, however if any wireless infrared keyboard will work then we can sell them those instead.

I suggest you refer them to us. Unfortunately, I am not aware of other wireless keyboards that are compatible with WebTV Units. I think most are proprietary meant to only work on the infrared receivers from WebTV.
