Hi, I just got Jam studio and all the websites that provided the drivers apparently will not install on my windows xp Pro. It copies files to the dirs, but before it could finish, it comes up with Setup error, code 2.

Has anyone been able to get it working? or be willing to give me step by step to install proper drivers?
Thanks.

Hi, in order for us to help you, you need to help us by providing more details about your operating system and system configuration.

You installed the driver. Where did you get the driver? What is the file name of the driver?

Where in the setup process is the error message "Setup failure". Is it after a certain screen? A very important suggestion when installing software is that you reboot your computer and exit out of all your program, including system tray. If you are still having issues, restart Windows in "Safe Mode" and install the software from there. Many times, installations go bad because a background program is interfering with the installation.

Thanks.

this is ridiculous. I have xp. went through the uber mission of installing the xp zip of drivers from the link i've seen provided here and I get a windows warning error saying this driver has not been tested for windows and microsoft highly recommends quiting. if I continue anyway, the instalation halts with an error message "Setup failure code e0000219" ... this is becoming a real annoyance. what do I do?

Well, now I can get to it in Control Panel BUT it keeps restarting my computer when the pen touches the tablet and I keep getting an error about the "system just recovered from a serious error" that has to do with a driver. HELP!!! This thing worked great the last time I used it. (Quit using it for a while and got a new computer. Now I want to use it again and can't!!) SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks, Heidi.

I'm having problems getting the XP drivers to work. After clicking "FINISHED", I get a message saying that it is not recommended by XP to continue installation. If I click "Install Anyway", I get a message saying:

Setup failure, code e0000219.

What is wrong?
Thanks in advance.
