 ƒ —› Input Devices —› DesignPAL/Pentel Graphics Tablet software/drivers (XP)?

I really hope that there's someone here that can help me! I bought a graphics tablet a few months ago now (second-hand, the only way I could afford one), but the software/drivers aren't any good with XP, so I'm stuffed, basically :(

I've spent hours and hours and WEEKS looking for more suitable software...but I can't find it [the tablet] on sale anywhere [online], and there doesn't even seem to be a website/manufacturer who's willing to own up to making the it!

I'll give you clever peeps all the info that the "label" on the back has to offer, and hope against hope that someone can help....but I warn you, I'm generally very good at sniffing stuff out on the net, and this one has me totally foxed - so this is definitely a challenge!

Ok, here's the gen - It's made by Pentel... Model No: OP-906... Serial no: 00001125... FCC ID: G540P96 ...and apart from the useful information that it's "Made In Taiwan", that's it...the only other info I can add is that it's a serial port type (not USB), not cordless., and it comes with a little plastic doohickey to stand your stylus in.

It looks VERY similar to the "Easypen" [ http://www.hexel.net/competitions/easypen.htm ] and "PenXP" [ http://www.wintime.com.tw/en/penxp.htm/l ] tablets....so much so that I feel sure that these companies must be connected somehow...I was wondering if the software/drivers to some of these other similar models might work? I've even taken pics of my tablet...just in case that could possibly help someone identify it - unfortunately, I can't attach pics, but if anyone thinks that seeing it will help, please email me and I'll be DELIGHTED to send you a pic :))

The nearest thing I've found onkine to what I have here has definitely been the "Palmpal Graphics Tablet" [ http://www.ukcomputerparts.com/index.html?target=front.html&lang=e n-gb ] - it's extremely similar, except mine is white and has a 9" x 6" working area (quite like the pic below that one, except mine is corded).

One last thing: when I've searched for "OP-906" on various search engines, I've often come up with the name "Omnipen" and "Wimtime" ... like here: http://www.input-drivers.com/drivers/50/50609.htm . I know it all MEANS something and there's an answer somewhere - I'm just damned if I can find it :(

Pleeease help me if you can?? Thanks in advance :)

I've got one of these and I did find xp drivers somewhere, which work fine. I can't find what I've done with the driver files at the moment, but I'll keep looking and post again when I find them

I've just found the drivers. I'll try and post them on driverguide.com later today.

Thankyou very much grimbaldus. after adding my note to the chain, I realised the newest message was at the bottom. I found the driver you posted to driverguide.com and have my tablet up and running which is so wonderfull after my weeks of trying to play with my artworks with a mouse. sooo tedious. darn near impossible. So thanks again
