Won't copy files wondering if bios upgrade would help or is it just not made to run xp

Motherboard supports Windows XP. Can you explain what you mean by not being able to "copy files"? What makes you suspect the motherboard is the issue?

When installing windows has problem copying files. Tried changing video card ,memory etc. When xp loads for first time machine loops restart Took harddrive out machine .Installed
xp while on another machine.Worked great. Reinstalled drive started machine and it kept restarting.
Scrubbed drive prior to first install
