It seems alot of the info in these posts are really spread out. After reading It would seem that of all the options to choose from it comes down to these two.

For those whom have already migrated please comment on which is best and mabie why.

I am off to download both.

I won't go into a huge list of pros & cons for AuctionSage ... I think it has already been done a couple of times in other posts here.

However, I will say this ... I really like AuctionSage and once you get used to it and customize it to fit you, it can pretty much run just like SOLD. It's just folders instead of different screens and the overall "flow" can be pretty similar to SOLD. I can only speak for the management part of AuctionSage and I haven't used it to list anything yet, so that aspect might be different.

They have a great forum and help section to find answers and help you get going.

Just a note - if you download AuctionSage, be sure to update to the 7.0 API version. It's the way AuctionSage is going and if you're going to learn AuctionSage, you might as well start with this version.

After trying out both, I found out that Shooting Star does not do inventory ... so if you need inventory feature, you are stuck with AuctionSage ... Good luck.

Another positive for AuctionSage is that it can automatically process Paypal payments similar to Sold. Shooting Star does not integrate with Paypal.
