Posted: Nov 28, 2005 16:55:28 · Edited by: tekgems Hi, here is the post regarding the updating issue: http://forums.timbercreeksoftware.com/viewtopic.php?t=10497 I am experiencing it since this morning. Hopefully Bill can get it worked out soon. It seems its not affecting everyone, but a few of us. Try turning off your computer completely as this will also flush out any information in your network card and start the computer again. That may help if all else fails. I exited out of SOLDV, killed SOLDV.EXE from Task Manager, and tried again. It seems to be working and I'm pulling My eBay page 2 as we speak. |

Posted: Nov 30, 2005 15:33:48 Yes, same here too. Says, "Error downloading Bidder History". Sounds like eBay glitch to me. It'll probably work again in a few hours (I hope). There's always the manual ways of deleting that item and creating the item manually in Sales Manager. One trick I learned is that you can Download Paypal Transactions and even though that it is not created in Sales Manager, SOLD V will create the customer information. So, when you create the sales order manually you just select the buyer id from the drop down list instead of creating a new one. |

Posted: Nov 30, 2005 17:24:35 Build 150 of SOLD V is out now. Click on Help, Check New Version. I see the new build addressed the "Error downloading Bidder History" issue I was having earlier. The official SOLD V announcement about the error is here: http://forums.timbercreeksoftware.com/viewtopic.php?t=10498 |

Posted: Dec 11, 2005 14:24:26 1) Close out of SOLD V 2) Click on Start, Run 3) then type in "ipconfig /flushdns" without the quotes 4) this should flush the DNS for cgi.ebay.com I notice the updating issues occur on specific eBay servers and not others. So, if you flush the DNS, that can sometimes help with the updating issue. I am noticing whether on Build 150 or 153, updating is slow - like SOLD V has to get each individual listing. |
