Posted: Oct 7, 2005 17:22:13 I'm changing to Venido. Anyone have any information with that company? It seems ok, does lots more than sold does. It is already api, and they have several different payment options. You can add what you want, and choose what you want to pay. It is (of course) more expensive than SOLD, but I'm having way too many problems with SOLD, and not hearing anything from what the future of sold may be, makes me nervous. I've lost too much money this summer to continue with SOLD, so I'm moving on. I really hate that Bill and Gary decided to close the forum and, then when it was open, put such restraints on what we could post. I really want this forum to be successful and that we can talk to each other to help each other out. Hope that the word gets out that this forum is alive and well. Thanks Sun! Janice |

Posted: Oct 7, 2005 18:06:00 Hi Janice - What is this now, you're third change with a web store? I remember you one store before SOLD V. Then you tried the first Saboti. Then something else... And now this!? My impression of Vendio is that they are stable to use. They may not have the latest and greatest, but they are easy to use. If I go with a web based service, I'd personally do Zoovy, but any FVF besides eBay always makes want to push away. For now, I will continue to use SOLD V. I think it is much better than SA Pro. |

Posted: Oct 7, 2005 18:43:19 Hi Sun, Yes, You have it right... I've not had luck with Sold at all. I need something that is more flexible than the sold store. I did go with zoovy and it was so expensive! And the inventory did not work, and I sold things that I was out of stock on many occasions. I would not recommend zoovy to anyone. That is when I went back to sold. But I cannot even go edit my store and I put in a ticket about a month ago. I'm just so frustrated with it all. I've been a sold user for a long time and have nothing but respect for Bill, but lately.... issues are not being dealt with. I'm the type of person that will explore options... so I've visited the ecommerce site to get the information that I need to expedite what I want to do. BUt dang, the downloads always hang up the sold ecommerce store. I've had it. I am very upset that the forum has been closed. Zoovey nickles and dimes you to death. I thought my bill would be at most 89.00... try 189.00 on several occasions. go figure. Now I see that zoovey has lowered the monthly expenses to 49.00 (I think), but be careful signing up. You may be charged for what you thought you weren't being charged for. ANyway, again, thanks sun for opening this forum. Janice |
