Now what the heck happened to the forum for timbercreek??? This is really frustrating. It used to be a LIVELY forum full of help, inspiration, consoling, idea sharing, and down right friendship.

What is happening? Problems with SoldV are happening more and more frequently... I just want the old support that we are used to and really should be expecting.

Yeah, I don't know what happened. Gary just closed it. I asked him about it, but I did not get a reply. Makes me wonder if SOLD V is going to be around much longer. I'm not trying to fear monger - we just haven't heard anything from Bill for many months now. Is he on vacation? Did he have a family death? What's going on?

No support whatsoever for whatever reason.

Is anyone elses program not even updating your watch list or bid items? It will only update auctions I've manually added from now on. Sigh

Yes, I am noticing that not all items are being brought in. I thought it was because I had a lot of listings. ;)

I am noticing that too.

Also has anyone else noticed listings are firing an hour earlier than the time you have set? And yes I have checked my settings and all are fine.

Looks like the program is on it's last leg.

Posted: Oct 27, 2005 17:55:55

I would disagree. It still does a lot of things well.

They must be on the selling side then, because the program won't even recognize anything I've bid on.

I'm also noticing it does not shut down properly. After I close it down, the process is still running in my task manager, so I have to go in and manually stop it. Anyone else seeing this too?

> the process is still running in my task manager

I've noticed that it happens sometimes as well. SOLDV.EXE will eventually end (after it finishes with its post-close work). But other times, you have to kill SOLDV.EXE from the process manager to start it up again. Otherwise, you'll get the application is already running.

Something appears to have changed today as all of my Bidding and Watching items were added by SoldV today! The only thing I did different was list something on eBay today. So unless eBay changed something, I'm still running the latest build of SoldV so I'm not sure what changed.

Sounds like an eBay change. Or rather they reverted back after some tinkering on their part. There should be a freeze I think after Oct 31st. Stability is important for the holiday shopping. Fix bugs, sure, but no new features on eBay.

Yah. eBay is way different than when I got going on it 1999 :)

Posted: Nov 20, 2005 10:05:00

Dang eBay. Sold won't update my watched or bidding on items again :(

Woohoo!! A new version is posted! And the speed is back for SoldV. Thank you!
