As stated in the "requirements", a "TV or Monitor with RCA inputs" is required. So not flip up monitor is included.

You are welcome. I will have to modify the description because this is the second time a customer has asked. May I ask what is confusing about the description? Is it the line item about "LCD"?

As a shrink and social scientist I can pinpoint that it is simply the picture. People see it first and along with wishful thinking. many of us hope that we are viewing a all in one unit, then upon reading the details, we can not be totaqlly sure.
