Posted: May 4, 2004 13:28:32 I've got Packard Bell Ir receirver( WinAmp remote). I'm trying to use it with Playstation 2 remote controller. It works well as long as I shutdown the lights. I doesn't work at all when room is dark. I have tried low and high sensivity, but it doesn't solve the problem. |

Posted: Jun 26, 2004 23:29:24 I am having the same problem, except with the Packard Bell remote that came with the Packard Bell reciever. If my Packard Bell remote won't work with my reciever, what type of remote WILL work with my reciever, in the dark? |

Posted: Jun 27, 2004 03:41:02 The packard bell remote is designed to work with the receiver. If it does not work, it could be a system incompatibility or defective hardware. |

Posted: Jun 27, 2004 11:18:44 It works fine...as long as the light in the room is on. When I turn the light off, it won't work anymore. I've tried re-learning the remote in the dark, but it does not give a consistent signal and thus can not be learned. If this is a defective remote, how do I get a replacement? |

Posted: Sep 13, 2004 04:31:27 Hi, I own a pb remote, works fine dark or light, only problems with it involves interface software instability, solved by two factors. ! building a USB UIR, and 2, getting some stable software (still looking) I run XP pro and 98 se on one of my several macines and XP home on another, this device remains reliable as far as signal quality is concerned on all 3 platforms. |
