Just a quick question, I have a MA-620 USB Infrared adapter for my computer. Is there any way I can use this to control the computer, i have tried girder and miriam (and a couple of other programs) but none have plugins available for my hardware, or any generic usb plugins.

any help getting this working appreciated.

cheers.

Hi Tim, the product you are using is meant for irDA which is a different technology than the TV remote infrared variety. They are not compatible.

Hi Tim, that's a good question. You could try asking the manufacturer's - I couldn't tell you. Let me know if you need anything else.
