There are two ways to do this: Easiest: Open up the drives and swap the circuit board from the old unit to the new unit. Be careful. Hopefully you have identical drives... More difficult: peruse the internet for 3rd party software to reprogram the firmware (read firmware from both drives, and swap the original encryption key into the new firmware and then reload the firmware onto the new drive). It will require booting both drives on a Windows machine with a SATA interface as another DVD-ROM device. There is a possibility the firmware reprogramming may fail and completely ruin the drive...
