This product is a switch. If your intention is to use this device for network packet monitoring (via Ethereal) which would require a HUB, this is not the product for you.

IF this is truly a switch, there would not be a collision light. It sounds like a 2 port switch, from the 10MB repeater side to the 100 MB repeater side and each port auto-negotiates 10 or 100.
