The LAN/USB Cable Tester is designed to easily read the correct cable pin out configuration. Included cable input types are:

  • USB(A/A),
  • USB(A/B),
  • BNC 10Base-T,
  • 100Base-TX,
  • Token Ring, AT & T 258A ,
  • Coaxial,
  • EIA/TIA 568A/568B, and
  • RJ11/RJ12 modular cables.
You can use connect cable if you want to test BNC, Coaxial, RCA modular cables. If you want to test a cable installed far away (patch panel or wall plate), use the Remote terminator.

BNC and Coaxial testing is supported but you would need to provide your own adapter to RJ45. The adapter is not included in this package.
