Convert a 1.8-in Hard Drive (such as Toshiba iPod hard drives) into a 3.5-in hard disk drive.

NOTE: The IDE side has 39-pins (ATA/66) instead of 40-pins.

This means standard ATA/33 cables (black colored) will not work and you need an ATA/66 IDE Cable (blue colored).

hi,
I keep searching for a hard drive replacement for my iRiver hp120, but this item keeps coming up in my search. the hard drive is by Toshiba MK2004gal. my mp3 player started to say "ceck hd connection". So I figured that's what is wrong with it. Can you advise me in any way on tis subject and if the item above is something I'm looking for. Thank you.
