The professional-quality Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon lens offers 4x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom, along with image stabilization to capture blur-free images. You can capture sharp HD pictures in 16:9 widescreen format to enjoy on an HDTV or a digital picture frame. Other image-enhancing features include face detection, scene modes and a convenient Smart Capture function that will automatically adjust settings based on the environment you're shooting in.

Enjoy still images in up to 3648 × 2736 resolution, or videos in up to 640 x 480 resolution at 30 fps. The EasyShare M420 comes with 64 MB of internal memory with expansion provided via SD/SDHC card slot.
