The one that you are selling appears to be the right size but my module was fastened to the motherboard with 4 screws whereas your seems to have clips. If I were to purchase your module would I still be able to screw it to the motherboard? I would be grateful for your advice and assistance in this matter. TekGems : Posted 333 days ago The plastic clips push in to the motherboard and stay in place. Plastic on metal do not interact well. If you insist on screws, I'd recommend you buy at least two retention modules or at the very least be careful of stripping. Jonfal : Posted 259 days ago Just a note regarding Clive's post, for anyone else who may have this question: Just remember to remove any metal screw standoffs between the case and the motherboard, or the plastic clips may not seat properly and the heat sink will not be in contact with the CPU.
